Microsoft silent after church groups ask for 1% of data center costs

We Make Indiana, a coalition of 25 congregations and community groups, proposed that Microsoft contribute 1% of annual data center costs to a community fund in Granger, Indiana. Microsoft has offered only one-time nonprofit donations of up to $1 million, while data center tax breaks in 38 states total hundreds of millions.
