BBC may close TV channels and radio stations to cut costs

The BBC is considering closing TV channels and radio stations or moving them to iPlayer-only as it seeks to save more than £500K. Director general Matt Brittin said he "wouldn't guarantee any programme or channel will exist forever" and that decisions could come "sooner than we might like".
