Tesla starts Semi deliveries with 2,500-truck ZET SCALE order

Tesla held a Semi launch event on September 24 at its Nevada plant, where it plans to build 50,000 trucks a year. The largest order comes from the ZET SCALE shipper alliance, including Microsoft and PepsiCo, for 2,500 electric semis. The Long Range Semi costs $290,000 and offers 500 miles of range.
