Blizzard says WoW Forever's Skyborne race is a commitment to 'not play it safe'

World of Warcraft Forever developers say Executive Creative Director Chris Metzen pushed the team to avoid the obvious zones and take risks with the new Skyborne race, which spans both Horde and Alliance. Average leveling from 1 to 20 takes 20.5 hours in Forever versus 20.4 in Classic Era, and Blizzard admits blue loot is overtuned and will be adjusted.
