Meta Launches $1 Million Competition For Hands-First VR Apps

Meta announced the Meta VR Start Developer Competition 2026 with a $1 million prize pool: 20 awards of up to $100,000 for Quest and VR Glasses apps built around hand tracking. Entries are open until November 18, 2026, and must be fully usable without controllers.
