Court Orders Reddit Moderator to Pay Nintendo $4.5 Million Over Switch Piracy

A federal court in Washington granted Nintendo a $4.5 million default judgment against Reddit moderator James "Archbox" Williams on September 23 over Switch piracy. He is also permanently barred from distributing pirated games or circumvention tools. Williams never responded to the June 2024 lawsuit.
