Fujifilm starts selling 40TB LTO-10 tapes for $494

Fujifilm has launched its LTO-10 Ultrium cartridge with 40TB native capacity, expanding to 100TB with 2.5:1 compression. Uncompressed transfer reaches 440MB/s, archival life is rated at up to 30 years, and the tape sells for $494 versus an $888.89 list price.
