Claude Opus 5.5 becomes default Opus model in Claude Code at $4/$20 per MTok

Claude Code 2.1.280 makes Claude Opus 5.5 (claude-opus-5-5) the default Opus model with 1M context at $4/MTok input and $20/MTok output, down from Opus 5's $5/$25. The release also fixes writes through symlinked paths, adds an "attribution": false shorthand, and moves auto mode's classifier server-side. Codex CLI gained GPT-6 Sol and Luna, and Gemini CLI shipped 0.61.0.
