Artemis II astronauts Glover and Wiseman move to emeritus roles at NASA

Victor Glover and Reid Wiseman, who flew around the Moon on Artemis II, have transitioned to emeritus status at NASA's Johnson Space Center. They will continue advising the agency, mentoring astronauts and supporting preparations for Artemis III in 2027.

• Glover and Wiseman were the first humans in over 50 years to travel to lunar orbit
• Artemis II lasted 10 days and splashed down on April 10
• Wiseman spent 165 days aboard the ISS; Glover flew on Crew-1
• Artemis III is planned for 2027, Artemis IV for 2028
