Hollywood studios seek film graduates already skilled in AI

Hollywood studios are hiring film school graduates who already know how to use AI video tools instead of training staff themselves, Semafor reported. Runway launched its first university course with NYU Tisch in January 2025, and its tools are also taught at USC, RISD, MIT and Harvard. Netflix said it used generative AI in about 300 titles this year.
